Overview

Project start date: 01.01.2024
Project end date: 31.12.2025

Cultural intelligence, or CQ, involves being aware of one's own cultural values, beliefs, and biases, while also being open and receptive to the perspectives and practices of others. Having CQ is crucial for fostering a safe and tolerant European society, as it promotes understanding and empathy among individuals from diverse backgrounds; helping to break down stereotypes, reduce prejudice, and challenge discriminatory attitudes. By cultivating CQ at an individual and societal level, Europe can embrace its rich diversity and create an environment where people from all backgrounds can thrive, feel safe, and contribute to a more harmonious society. The primary motivation for partners to apply for this project is to support the spread of CQ, and not intolerance, online. By fostering cultural intelligence, Cultural Bridges seeks to bridge the gaps and overcome the barriers that exist in online communities; aiming to empower young people and youth workers to become agents of change who can build stronger connections and promote inclusivity in the digital age.
